Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Syracuse University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, within the Division of Enrollment and Student Experience, hosts a series of events in April in collaboration with campus departments and student organizations.

Celebrated nationally in May, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month honors Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America’s history and are instrumental in its future success.

AAPI Heritage Month consists of programs and signature events that educate all members of the Syracuse University community about the histories, cultural diversity, contributions and often underreported challenges of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
